Javi Revert Sensal

Sensal is the village wine of Javi Revert, winemaker and viticulturist from La Font de la Figuera, sourced from five mountain plots located in the Els Juncarejos area, on limestone soils, with old vines and young ones replanted on ancient mountain terraces, worked with minimal intervention and biodynamic practices. The blend of Monastrell, Bonicaire, and Garnacha ferments with native yeasts and a significant percentage of whole clusters, with macerations of about 15 days, completing malolactic fermentation and aging in concrete tanks. With a cherry red color and violet rim, it is an incredibly vibrant and aromatic wine, with notes of wild strawberries, cranberry, and raspberry, alongside an underbrush background. On the palate, it is juicy, fresh, and with round tannins, faithfully reflecting the viticultural identity of this Valencian village.
